Leo's Junior Olympic Archery Development Program at West Falls Conservation Society
LEO'S JOAD is one of the oldest JOAD clubs in the United States and was founded by Helen (MA) Little in 1968 on Transit Rd in Depew, NY at Leo's Archery Range. Leo Baldwin was the original owner of Leo's Archery and when he retired Ma's daughter Mary and her husband Harry Staebell took over the business and the JOAD program.
Later, Leo's moved to East Aurora, NY where the JOAD flourished until the Staebell's retired in 2005, and Bob and Eileen Pfeil and daughters took over the JOAD program bringing it to West Falls Conservation Society. The program continues to grow with more archers entering in to local, state and national tournaments.
